Voice Network Engineer II

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance, and U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, data center, and voice infrastructure.
• Support IP telephony, call routing, Session Border Controllers, SIP trunking, and VoIP troubleshooting.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related network technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex network and voice incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• Support infrastructure deployments, migrations, modernization projects, upgrades, and on-call incident response.
• Maintain network documentation and recommend improvements to performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of related experience; equivalent experience may substitute, with 6 years required in the absence of a degree.
• Practical experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, MS Teams, SIP trunking, Session Border Controllers, VoIP QoS, RTP/RTCP, and call-flow analysis.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching equipment, wireless, VPN implementations, and basic firewall principles.
• Experience supporting corporate networks, maintaining SLAs, and providing corporate IT support.
• Familiarity with AI for network troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with cloud voice solutions such as Teams Phone or Webex and knowledge of SD-WAN.
• Experience with network automation or scripting using Python or Ansible.
• Experience in high-availability or multi-site environments.
