Location: France - Dagneux, or Les Avenières, France; travel may reach up to 30% depending on project assignments and execution stage.

What you will do

• Lead major capital projects in France and Germany from concept, scoping, and estimation through implementation, commissioning, and hand-off.
• Manage capital budgets and projects of up to $50M, including expenditure requests, cost control, schedule control, and resource planning.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate site personnel, stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Develop proposals, RFQs, technical specifications, engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, and detailed design documentation.
• Evaluate field installations, recommend design modifications, and oversee the commissioning and startup of new or modified equipment.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with site health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• University or engineering degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing facilities and in developing and reading mechanical design drawings.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, electrical, civil, mechanical, and chemical engineering disciplines.
• Experience working within and leading multidisciplinary teams, including safety analysis such as HAZOP or FMEA.
• Proficient spoken and written English is required.
