Legal Technology & AI Attorney - Investment Funds (AI)

Location: Remote role based in any U.S. office; New York preferred

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 annual compensation, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses

What you will do

• Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to Investment Funds legal workflows.
• Develop and test agentic workflows, prompt libraries, AI-assisted tools, document automation solutions, and knowledge management resources.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors, attorneys, technologists, Research, Practice Group Management, and Information Technology teams.
• Evaluate technology pilots for AI-driven research, drafting, knowledge extraction, and Investment Funds data and market analytics.
• Maintain templates, forms, precedents, playbooks, and guidance materials reflecting current law, market practice, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead training and gather practitioner feedback to improve knowledge systems, workflows, and technology adoption.

Requirements

• J.D., Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice and good standing in the state where based.
• 3–5 years of experience in Investment Funds legal practice; other transactional backgrounds may be considered.
• Strong understanding of AI, emerging technology, transactional workflows, and their application to legal practice.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, critical-thinking, collaboration, and independent-judgment skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Personal or professional coding or technology-related building experience.
• Experience with workflow design, tool development, or process improvement.
