Location: United States; hybrid with three days per week in office. Current eligible offices: Santa Monica, CA; Foster City, CA; Parsippany, NJ. Thousand Oaks, CA and El Segundo, CA will replace Santa Monica as options at the beginning of 2027.
Salary: $237,575–$307,450 for other US locations; $261,375–$338,250 for the Bay Area, annually. The role may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and benefits.

What you will do
- Lead the US Payer, Value, and Access Strategy organization across provider access marketing, payer and value marketing, launch planning, and ecosystem strategy.
- Define portfolio-level market access strategies covering providers, payers, employers, advocacy organizations, government and policy partners, treatment centers, and accreditation bodies.
- Advise US Market Access and executive leadership on access risks, stakeholder dynamics, policy considerations, launch readiness, and market development opportunities.
- Oversee integrated provider and payer value strategies, evidence translation, stakeholder education, and customer-facing resources.
- Lead access planning for current and future pipeline products, ensuring reimbursement, policy, provider, employer, and treatment-center considerations are addressed early.
- Build governance routines, manage agencies and budgets, and coordinate execution across commercial, medical, policy, legal, regulatory, and compliance functions.
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree with 12+ years of experience, master’s degree with 12+ years, or bachelor’s degree with 14+ years.
- 12+ years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience across market access, payer or provider strategy, launch planning, policy, pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, or related commercial roles.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional strategies across multiple stakeholders, products, and time horizons.
- Deep understanding of the US market access environment, including payers, providers, employers, reimbursement, hospital economics, buy-and-bill dynamics, and specialty therapy access barriers.
- Experience leading teams, developing talent, coaching senior professionals, and building organizational culture.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of hematology, oncology, and cell therapy, including CAR T reimbursement, single case agreements, network dynamics, provider economics, and treatment center requirements.
- Experience developing market access strategies, stakeholder engagement strategies, launch plans, value platforms, or evidence translation approaches.
- Strong executive presence, emotional intelligence, situational awareness, and ability to build trust across teams.
