Equipment Inspector - Part Time

Location: Saskatoon, SK, Canada; onsite field work inspecting heavy equipment

Salary: CAD 21.06–26.32

What you will do

• Perform thorough visual inspections and functional testing of heavy equipment.
• Gather and verify inventory information, contract proofs, equipment additions, serial numbers, and asset details.
• Identify and record equipment components and accessories, and verify descriptions against the Equipment Standards Manual.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of equipment data and verify warranty-related requirements.
• Compose and take equipment photographs, assist the DEI team, and support Sales with field appraisals and write-ups.
• Follow safety requirements and promote a workplace where employees and customers are protected.

Requirements

• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Fluency in English and/or French.
• Experience in equipment management, inspections, inventory, appraisals, or inventory control; auction or heavy-equipment experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial or agricultural equipment, trucks, and trailers.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and digital cameras.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, accuracy, independent-work, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
