Automotive Offline Technician (Automotive)

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Assemble detail parts, components, and subassemblies on delivery vehicles.
• Install and reinstall wires, hoses, instrument panels, doors, handles, underbodies, and other vehicle parts.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components using technical diagrams.
• Conduct functional testing, validation checks, and ongoing quality inspections.
• Identify defects, trace them to their point of origin, and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following 5S and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Advanced computer, math, reading, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow established methods, multitask, adapt to changing processes, and work effectively with a team.
• Ability to work with high-voltage, high-pressure hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while following safety procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, perform repetitive manual work, and lift or carry up to 35 lbs.

Nice to have

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical certification.
• Four years of assembler experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
