TL;DR
End of Line Technician (Automotive Manufacturing): Assembling and testing vehicle components and subassemblies with an accent on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Focus on troubleshooting battery-electrical components, validating assembled systems, and driving defects to corrective action.

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States; onsite, full-time routine shift hours

What you will do

  • Assemble and install detail parts, components, wires, hoses, instrument panels, doors, handles, underbodies, and other subassemblies on vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and battery systems using electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Perform functional testing, validation checks, and ongoing quality inspections of assembled systems.
  • Use standard work instructions, manipulators, torque tools, and other assembly equipment across different workstations.
  • Identify defects, trace them to their point of origin, and assist with corrective actions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with safety procedures and 5S standards.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Advanced computer, math, reading, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow established methods and procedures, multitask, and adapt to changing processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with leadership and team members and provide guidance and support to peers.
  • Ability to safely work with high-voltage, high-pressure hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and lift or push/pull up to 35 pounds.

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
  • Four years of assembler experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
