Toolmaker / Machinist (Manufacturing)

Location: Jermyn, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, full-time direct hire

Salary: $25 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain, modify, repair, and improve metalworking dies and production tooling.
• Fabricate gauges, cutting tools, fixtures, and other manufacturing tooling.
• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
• Machine components to close tolerances and inspect finished work with precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot tooling and machining issues and support manufacturing maintenance projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following quality and safety procedures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of machining, toolmaking, or tool and die experience in a manufacturing or machine-shop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, sketches, and shop specifications.
• Hands-on experience operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, and drills.
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Welding experience.
