Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday through Thursday

Salary: $80,336.75–$145,077.09 per year, adjusted based on experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, budget, and responsibilities.

What you will do

  • Lead regulatory compliance reviews of advertising, marketing, enrollment materials, catalogs, and other public- and student-facing communications.
  • Establish and maintain compliance review processes, controls, monitoring frameworks, and oversight activities across institutions and business units.
  • Interpret and apply federal, state, provincial, accreditation, and consumer protection requirements.
  • Partner with operational leaders, project teams, and committees to identify compliance gaps and develop mitigation strategies and process improvements.
  • Develop regulatory procedures, guidance, and training to support compliant business processes and operational practices.
  • Provide coaching and timely regulatory guidance to senior leadership, managers, and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in regulatory assurance, compliance, or licensing.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in the education services sector is required or strongly encouraged.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with multiple state authorizing agencies and institutional or programmatic accreditors, together with strong critical-thinking and communication skills.
