Senior Operations Business Analyst (Banking)

What you will do

• Lead the design of products, features, and user-friendly solutions that improve banking processes and data availability.
• Collaborate with development teams, business units, managers, and executives to integrate complex processes across multiple systems.
• Prioritize team initiatives, manage several complex projects, drive iterative improvements, and address technical debt.
• Define business, reporting, and process-improvement requirements and present data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Lead application testing, deployment, issue resolution, end-user training, and change-management initiatives.
• Mentor junior Operations Business Analysts and support their professional development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in branch banking operations, commercial lending, data management, process improvement, system design, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, or commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with data analytics, business intelligence, data science, Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio or Lucid, and ADO.
• Experience with project management methodologies and leading enterprise-wide process-improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and problem-solving skills; occasional travel is required.
