Distinguished Cloud Architect (AI)

What you will do

• Lead delivery of centralized cloud solutions for critical and strategic platforms, including reference architectures and baseline implementations.
• Develop enterprise standards, guardrails, implementation architectures, and reusable content for cloud services.
• Guide secure abstraction-layer and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions that enable engineering and SRE teams to deploy rapidly.
• Create and communicate technical roadmaps with management, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
• Consult with development groups on modernizing business applications and implementing AI-driven solutions.
• Partner with Cyber Security and Risk teams, mentor engineers and architects, and ensure solutions meet business and security objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 15+ years of technology experience, including 5+ years as a Cloud Architect, with experience designing and delivering large-scale solutions in GCP and/or AWS, including application migrations.
• Advanced expertise in GCP, preferred, and/or AWS, including relevant certifications and experience with BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and big data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GenAI, RAG, and related frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, IAM, security models, and enterprise-scale distributed-systems design.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or PHP and cloud-native development practices.
• Ability to present to and influence executive leadership, collaborate across matrixed organizations, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, prioritization, risk-management, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Ownership mindset, curiosity, proactive collaboration, continuous learning, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English and languages relevant to the working market where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience with Harness, Agent Development, Security Principles, and Secure Architecture concepts.
• Professional Cloud Architect or comparable cloud certification.
