Distinguished Cloud Architect (GCP/AWS)

What you will do

• Lead delivery of centralized cloud solutions for critical and strategic initiatives.
• Create reference architectures, enterprise standards, guardrails, baseline implementations, and reusable deployment content.
• Design secure abstraction layers and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for development and SRE teams.
• Plan and communicate technical roadmaps with management, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
• Advise development groups on application modernization and cloud-native solutions, including AI-driven use cases.
• Partner with Cyber Security and Risk teams to design controls that mitigate security risks, while mentoring engineers and architects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 15+ years of technology experience, including 5+ years as a Cloud Architect, with large-scale GCP and/or AWS solutions and application migrations.
• Advanced GCP, preferably, and/or AWS expertise, including experience with BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and big data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GenAI, RAG, and related frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, IAM, security models, distributed systems, and enterprise-scale design principles.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or PHP, plus executive communication, consulting, analytical, and mentoring skills. English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Professional cloud architecture certifications, such as Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience with Harness, Agent Development, Security Principles, and Secure Architecture concepts.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
