Construction Intern

Location: On-site in Pompano Beach, Florida, United States

Pay: $22–$24/hour

hirify.global provides construction project opportunities across the built environment and operates an internship program for students preparing for careers in construction project management.

What you will do

• Support project teams from pre-construction through project closeout.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and maintain material logs.
• Prepare project reports, correspondence, and closeout documentation.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for suitability.
• Track change orders and Requests for Information.
• Collect, verify, and distribute as-builts while supporting field coordination and supervision.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Business, or a related built-environment major.
• Have knowledge of construction technology, including Bluebeam, Revit, and Procore.
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
• Be familiar with computer applications for spreadsheets, word processing, and scheduling; experience is preferred.
