What you will do

• Apply computer science, software engineering, algorithms, distributed systems, cloud computing, full-stack development, and database management expertise.
• Design and develop technical solutions that address JIOC mission requirements and intelligence gaps.
• Develop and optimize automated intelligence processes and analysis tools.
• Investigate, prototype, evaluate, and integrate emerging, open-source, commercial, and government technologies.
• Assess system and application functionality, effectiveness, performance, and scalability.
• Produce technical documentation, conduct code reviews, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with government, military, and contractor partners.

Requirements

• TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph required.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in computer science, software development, or similar technical roles.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting intelligence or defense applications.
• Advanced expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, development paradigms, cloud-native architecture, and deployment strategies.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, DevSecOps, CI/CD, performance optimization, federal information security requirements, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience leading software development teams, mentoring junior developers, managing complex projects, and translating intelligence requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
