Project Employee, Broadcast Support Engineer

Location: Secaucus, USA; in-office work required. The role also supports hirify.global arenas and requires availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and all shifts in a 24x7x365 production environment.

What you will do

• Engineer end-to-end multimedia infrastructure and live streaming content delivery.
• Improve streaming delivery workflows for reliability and flexibility.
• Monitor technical continuity using multiviewers, IP probes, video analyzers, and other quality-control tools.
• Support and troubleshoot broadcast systems, IP/network-connected equipment, routers, multiviewers, IP codecs, and Layer 2/3 broadcast network switches.
• Check inbound and outbound feeds, resolve live production issues, and maintain operational uptime.
• Create detailed technical reports and support domestic and international hirify.global distribution.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of broadcast operations or engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast television standards, workflows, routing, switching, encoding, audio processing, and distribution.
• Experience with hardware encoding, IP gateways, and 3G/HD broadcast systems.
• Experience with RTSP, RTMP, SRT, UDP/TCP, and RTP streaming and transport technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, independent working, and creative thinking skills.
• College degree in Communications, Engineering, or a related field preferred; significant relevant field experience may substitute.
