Quantitative Analyst II (Capital Structuring & Analytics)

Location: Remote Canada

Base pay range: CAD 117,000–167,000 per year

What you will do

• Evaluate, structure, and price consumer asset-backed transactions with the Capital Markets team.
• Develop and enhance capital structuring and pricing models for Affirm’s consumer loan portfolio.
• Build quantitative models to analyze and forecast consumer loan performance.
• Provide insights on capital markets transactions to improve funding strategy and merchant pricing.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Treasury, Merchant Pricing, Credit, Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in asset-backed transaction structuring, consumer loan performance forecasting, and/or quantitative modeling.
• Experience with Intex, Bloomberg, and collaboration with accountants, rating agencies, and internal or external partners.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams.
• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities, driving projects, navigating ambiguity, and developing creative solutions with minimal guidance.
• Interest in understanding the broader business context behind financial decisions.
