Registered Nurse - Foundation Gastroenterology - Part Time

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; onsite, 20 hours per week, Wednesday–Friday

What you will do

• Carry out the nursing process in person, by telephone, and through telehealth.
• Room patients, take vital signs, triage needs, and assist providers with clinical responsibilities.
• Assess patient needs, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals on individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccines; perform point-of-care testing and manage specimens.
• Educate patients on self-management, medications, nutrition, health, and wellness.

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to provide care within the scope of practice defined by the applicable state Nurse Practice Act.
