Broker Relations Specialist (Insurance)

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound communication with independent insurance agents about policy applications and service issues.
• Advise and educate agents on individual health insurance and Medicare products.
• Build and maintain working relationships with agents and insurance carriers.
• Promote and support the use of quoting and enrollment tools and platforms.
• Process enrollments, policy changes, and claim issues according to carrier guidelines.
• Maintain database records and electronic files accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and 2–3 years of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer programs and Microsoft Office applications.
• Dependable, highly organized, self-directed, and committed to customer service.
• Ability to work from the Cedar Falls office.
