A&P Mechanic IV (Deploy Only)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; frequent travel to customer locations and extended OCONUS deployments are required.

What you will do

• Supervise aircraft maintenance crews and maintenance projects.
• Oversee major aircraft overhauls, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with FAA, regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
• Develop maintenance protocols and maintain complete documentation and reporting.
• Train and develop junior mechanics and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments.
• Deploy to OCONUS operating locations and travel frequently to customer sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience; a higher-level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Active, current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification with no prior FAA violations.
• Advanced experience repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications.
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required on the first day of employment, and U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/30 rotation, meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements, pass a pre-deployment medical assessment, and hold a valid passport.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Dash 8 platform or other specific aircraft models.
• Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance or a related field.
• Leadership, FAA repair station, quality assurance, or aerospace and defense experience.
• Familiarity with FAR and DFARS.
