Senior Director Commercial Data Enablement & Platforms Suite Lead (Biopharma)

Location: Remote/Home-Based in the United States; Philadelphia, PA listed for the role. 20%–30% travel required.

Salary: $224,000–$336,000 annual base pay for US-based candidates, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Set the vision, multi-year strategy, roadmaps, budget, and resource allocation for the Commercial Data Enablement & Platforms capability.
• Define and govern a scalable commercial data operating model covering sourcing, ingestion, standardization, stewardship, quality, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Lead teams responsible for commercial data strategy, master data management, HCP/HCO data, payer and patient data, and customer 360 capabilities.
• Partner with analytics, technology, activation, marketing, legal, compliance, franchise, and regional stakeholders to align global standards with local needs.
• Oversee vendors, offshore and MSP-managed operations, data quality monitoring, governance adherence, delivery reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Enable trusted data foundations for analytics, personalization, omnichannel engagement, predictive models, and AI-driven capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, analytics, technology, engineering, healthcare, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in data management, data platforms, data strategy, analytics, or related domains, including enterprise data capabilities and governance frameworks in a regulated industry.
• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 6–8 years leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of commercial data, data governance, data quality, stewardship, audit readiness, customer and patient data, PII, GDPR, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, data fabric or mesh, MDM, data integration, semantic layers, data models, taxonomies, metadata, CRM, and reporting tools; familiarity with AWS Redshift and Snowflake.
• Experience with Agile product development, AI/ML or advanced analytics workflows, global platforms, vendors, and distributed matrixed teams.

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or relevant graduate degree.
• Experience with capability operating models, rare disease or specialty brands, and enterprise platform teams.
• Experience leading global onshore/offshore operating models.
