Associate Director, Patient Data Strategy and Management (Pharma Data)

Salary: $137,000–$235,750 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own patient data management, operations, strategy, and quality for Oncology and Neuroscience portfolios.
• Lead the patient data pipeline supporting insights and analytics, patient experience, sales, and marketing.
• Serve as the primary data contact, advising stakeholders on data sources and resolving data-related issues.
• Lead data governance, quality monitoring, change management, validation, integration, and launch-related projects.
• Manage data vendors, partnerships, service-level agreements, acquisitions, and annual portfolio budgets.
• Evaluate new data sources and advise on future patient data strategy and commercial use cases.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data management, analytics, insights, or commercial excellence within pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, Health Sciences, or an equivalent field.
• Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources, including HUB, patient support programs, specialty pharmacy, claims, RWE/HEOR, and syndicated data.
• Experience establishing and leading external data-vendor partnerships.
• Knowledge of data analytics, AI, machine learning, querying and business intelligence tools, data governance, data quality, metadata, and data lifecycles.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and life sciences compliance requirements, with strong analytical and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with vendors and data sources such as IQVIA, Komodo, Symphony, SPP, IDN, or ACO affiliations.
