What you will do
- Lead the Medical Research and Innovation team and the overall IEGP development and review process in line with medical strategy.
- Partner with Medical Therapeutic Area, R&D, PADU, AP, Global, and other cross-functional teams to execute studies and monitor compliance with clinical research and safety procedures.
- Guide study design, risk analysis, clinical consultation, feasibility assessments, statistical analysis plans, and TFL development for approved CSS.
- Drive publication plans and outputs, strengthen publication capabilities, and provide real-world evidence and epidemiology advice to stakeholders.
- Maintain audit and inspection readiness, identify process issues, update SOPs, and provide research capability training.
- Build and lead the organization, including coaching, resource and budget management, succession planning, and talent development.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in clinical medicine or pharmacy; an M.D. or Ph.D. is preferred.
- More than 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- At least 5 years of Medical Affairs experience in a leading role with people management responsibility.
- Strategic thinking, scientific reasoning, planning and tracking, contingency planning, problem-solving, and budget implementation skills.
- Strong oral and written communication, influence, negotiation, team management, resource management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work in Beijing, China and travel domestically and internationally.
