Annual base salary: $75,000–$85,000 USD

What you will do

• Discover and propose emerging recording artists, songs, and producers for AWAL.
• Attend live shows and evaluate new music, artists, and recording progress.
• Lead artist development by providing creative input and direction on recorded material.
• Coordinate producers, studios, pre-production, recording, mixing, mastering, and asset delivery.
• Plan recording budgets and keep assigned projects within agreed budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate label relationships and collaborate with marketing, publicity, sales, and other departments on release follow-up.

Requirements

• At least three years of music or entertainment industry experience with a track record of discovering new and emerging talent.
• Knowledge of the stages involved in making and releasing a record.
• Prior experience working with artists across a variety of genres.
• Strong problem-solving, social, interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and identifying potential issues.
