Field Tech I (Environmental Sampling)

Location: Altoona, PA, United States; field travel to customer and environmental testing sites is required, with some overnight stays.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

What you will do

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites, including occasional overnight trips.
• Collect, process, and test environmental samples from air, soil, water, and related media.
• Perform field services, complete test kits, and document sampling results.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required.
• Prepare vehicles with instruments, supplies, kits, documentation, and safety equipment for daily field operations.
• Maintain accurate logs, forms, databases, and other operational documentation while supporting environmental programs and compliance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related work experience is preferred; one year of laboratory or environmental experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel with some overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license required and must remain active throughout employment.
