Design Integration Manager (Construction)

Location: Otsego, Minnesota, United States. Travel may exceed 50% depending on the assignment and project requirements.

Expected salary range: $147,000–$203,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate preconstruction activities, including budgeting, scheduling, change management, communications, meetings, and document control.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design integration and ensure deliverables are constructible, coordinated, documented, and supported by accurate field data.
• Develop permitting strategies involving environmental investigations, agency coordination, property access agreements, compliance reviews, and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while supporting cost, schedule, contingency, and project-controls decisions.
• Lead estimating teams in developing preliminary estimates and GMP proposals, integrating scope, assumptions, cost, schedule, phasing, and procurement.
• Develop construction strategies, conduct constructability and value-engineering reviews, support pursuits, and provide continuity through commissioning and close-out.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in design-build, integrated project delivery, or complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction execution, sequencing, means and methods, and close-out.
• Experience coordinating multiple design disciplines and external consultants, as well as design-build, progressive design-build, or CM/GC delivery methods.
• Experience with win strategies, pricing, project scheduling, technical writing, and scheduling, estimating, and project-controls software.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicles operated and an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• DBIA certification.
