Manager, Legal

Location: Full-time onsite in Hyderabad, India; willingness to relocate to Hyderabad if necessary.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end review of third-party commercial contracts for corporate entities across the USA, EMEA, and APAC.
• Draft, review, and negotiate master service agreements, consultancy agreements, service agreements, engagement letters, staffing agreements, SOWs, NDAs, work orders, purchase orders, amendments, and vendor contracts.
• Support contract lifecycle management and maintain standardized contract templates.
• Develop and maintain legal playbooks, handbooks, guidelines, trackers, and contract review processes.
• Monitor legal and regulatory requirements, including anti-bribery, data privacy, cybersecurity, and anti-money laundering obligations.
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, Compliance, Accounting, and other departments in Los Angeles, London, Hong Kong, and other locations while managing legal risks.

Requirements

• Must work full-time in Hyderabad, India; willingness to relocate if necessary.
• At least 4–6 years of experience in a law firm, financial services, or asset management environment.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate legal, regulatory, and commercial risks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contract management laws, regulations, practices, and industry trends.
• Exceptional English writing, drafting, and communication skills are mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience working with senior business stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.
• Specialized contract management experience.
• Proficiency with CLM tools and SharePoint.
