What you will do

  • Lead supplier development activities across complex and strategic supplier bases, serving as the liaison between U.S. project teams and global suppliers.
  • Oversee Supplier Launch PPAP documentation, Safe Launch readiness, supplier assessments, and new product introduction activities.
  • Evaluate supplier manufacturing processes, capability, throughput, OEE capacity, process flow, PFMEA, and control plans.
  • Lead supplier quality management system audits, Run @ Rate activities, validation, and closure of findings.
  • Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, cost reduction, DFM collaboration, and strategic supplier improvement initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor SDE engineers, train suppliers and internal teams, and contribute to long-term supplier capability roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 6+ years of supplier development, supplier quality, or relevant engineering experience.
  • Advanced understanding of APQP, PPAP, Run @ Rate, and Safe Launch methodologies.
  • Expert-level knowledge of at least three Fox manufacturing processes: precision machining, forging/impacts, plastic injection molding, electronics, surface finishes, or assembly.
  • Expertise in ISO, IATF, or AS9100 auditing; GD&T; engineering drawings; tolerance stack-ups; tooling and process interactions; 6σ, 8D, and PFMEA.
  • Ability to lead cross-cultural communication and complex negotiations, with willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
