Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid workplace with regular domestic and international travel of up to 30%+. Relocation is available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
Salary: $86,500–$126,800 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do
- Develop, support, and maintain supplier processes and components across purchased commodities, including casting, machining, and internal engine components.
- Investigate supplier defects and quality issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor supplier impact, quality, delivery, and cost performance through metrics and monthly scorecards.
- Support new product development, design reviews, launch readiness, capacity and capability reviews, and supplier audits.
- Develop and review PPAP documentation, including process flows, control plans, FMEAs, measurement systems analysis, and material analysis.
- Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and supplier training focused on quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on engineering and quality or supplier-quality experience.
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, process control plans, FMEA, DOE, SPC, GD&T, and corrective-action processes.
- Ability to interpret complex drawings, use 3D CAD and mold-flow software, and conduct advanced failure analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with suppliers on product development, process development, problem-solving, and product lifecycle support.
- Current authorization to work in the United States is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with plastics processing, thermoplastics, or extruded materials in production environments.
- Experience in supply chain or procurement and advanced proficiency in APQP/PPAP.
- Knowledge of materials science, modeling and simulation, statistical methods, and design of experiments.
- Experience creating and using Tableau or Power BI KPIs.
