Manufacturing Machine Operator (Extrusion)

Location: On-site in New Holland, Pennsylvania, United States. Night shift on a full-time 12-hour 2-3-2 schedule.

Salary: $24–$26 per hour, plus a $2 per hour night-shift premium.

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently on an extrusion or production line.
• Monitor and adjust speed, temperature, tension, and material-feed settings to maintain stable extrusion performance.
• Support equipment start-ups, changeovers, and resin or compound material changes.
• Perform in-process measurements, visual inspections, quality checks, and defect identification.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues, report equipment concerns, and complete production records and system entries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting production targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a full-time night shift in an on-site manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform hands-on production work, stand or sit for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 45 lbs occasionally.

Nice to have

• Prior manufacturing or machine-operator experience.
• Experience with plastic extrusion, wire and cable extrusion, profile extrusion, tubing extrusion, or another continuous-process production environment.
