What you will do
- Ensure continuous third-shift operation of laser machines and resolve alarms or malfunctions promptly.
- Operate and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on shears, turret punches, press brakes, lasers, and other fabrication equipment.
- Oversee loading and unloading of metal sheets in automation towers and stage materials for uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate handovers with first- and second-shift teams and communicate production issues or process changes.
- Track machine performance, material usage, and production output while maintaining safety and workplace organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience operating CNC equipment such as lasers, shears, turret punches, or press brakes.
- At least one year of direct personnel supervision experience.
- Must be or be able to become forklift certified.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and bend, squat, crawl, and climb in a non-climate-controlled shop or warehouse environment.
