Data Engineer (Guidewire)

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India; onsite

hirify.global is hiring for a data engineering role focused on Guidewire and Azure data technologies.

What you will do

• Develop scalable data solutions using Python and SQL.
• Work with Guidewire Info Center and Guidewire PC, BC, and CC systems.
• Debug APIs and support reliable system integrations.
• Use Azure Databricks, ADLS Storage, Key Vault, and Azure SQL.
• Optimize Spark and SQL workloads and maintain data engineering code.
• Collaborate on projects while working independently when required.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience with a programming language, preferably Python, and SQL development.
• At least 1–2 years of experience with Guidewire Info Center.
• Knowledge of Guidewire PC, BC, and CC systems.
• Experience with API debugging and unit, functional, and load testing.
• Experience with Python, pandas, and at least one Python framework such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid.
• Must work onsite in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with Azure Git and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to understand and modify Azure ARM template scripts.
