Lead Software Development Engineer (Java)

Location: Mumbai; hybrid work with four days in-office each week

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation solutions for revenue platforms.
• Optimize and integrate Martech systems centered on Marketo, Salesforce, and related services.
• Set technical direction across Java, Python, workflow automation, web services, messaging, data platforms, and cloud technologies.
• Mentor engineers, remove impediments, support hiring and retention, and maintain ownership of business domains.
• Partner with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Enterprise Data Platform teams to align engineering with business goals.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, software estimation quality, and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including software integration and workflow automation.
• Expert-level Java, Python, and SQL skills.
• Deep understanding of marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and related Sales Cloud technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-scale delivery, scalability, resiliency, and recoverability.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration.

• Experience in the financial industry or with B2B platforms.
