Software Development Engineer III (Gainsight)

Location: Hyderabad, India (SEZ); on-site office or customer/data center environment

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize Gainsight and Salesforce solutions and integrations.
• Provide production support for services applications, resolving application and data issues within SLA targets.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, critical incident response, and deployment of fixes or patches.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, QA, IT teams, and vendors.
• Serve as a Gainsight technical and business process subject-matter expert and sub-team lead.
• Mentor less senior analysts and maintain documentation, compliance, application reliability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• More than three years of Gainsight platform experience, including Custom Objects, Rules Engine, Data Designer, Journey Orchestrator, Renewal Center, Scorecards, and Gainsight Surveys.
• Approximately three years of Salesforce configuration and administration experience, including Salesforce integration patterns.
• Basic to intermediate Python coding experience for AI/ML workflows or agent integrations, with practical experience developing AI-powered agents or automation for customer service or success workflows.
• Experience with customer success processes, application lifecycle management, Agile project management, analysis, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Knowledge of object-oriented concepts and logic fundamentals; a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and periodically work evenings or weekends when on call; approximately 5% travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Gainsight NXT knowledge and experience.
• Gainsight NXT Administrator certification.
• SQL programming and Tableau experience.
