Live Safety Broadcaster (AI)

Location: On-site in New York City at the Mission Control studio; shift-based coverage includes some evenings and weekends.

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is building an AI-native, real-time public safety platform that delivers verified safety information during unfolding incidents.

What you will do

• Monitor live incident feeds, scanner audio, user video, and data streams across multiple markets.
• Verify incidents quickly and accurately, identify misinformation, and publish incident titles, updates, and push notifications.
• Broadcast live from the Mission Control studio, explaining verified facts, unknowns, and safe ways for the community to participate.
• Interact with live audiences, community reports, field creators, users, and partner responders while maintaining accuracy and dignity.
• Collaborate with content and social teams to create clips, highlights, and cross-platform content from live broadcasts.
• Help refine the on-air playbook for pacing, tone, and real-time incident coverage.

Requirements

• Comfortable appearing on camera and live streaming unscripted for extended periods.
• Clear verbal narration skills and the ability to hold an audience while a situation develops.
• Strong judgment under pressure, with fast, accurate, detail-oriented incident verification.
• Social media fluency and an understanding of live audience behavior.
• Commitment to accuracy, verification, privacy, dignity, and public safety over engagement.
• Must be comfortable working on-site in New York City with evening and weekend shifts.

Nice to have

• Experience in live broadcasting, on-camera hosting, streaming, real-time operations, 911 dispatch, EMS or fire communications, newsroom assignment desks, or security operations centers.
• Existing interest in public safety, city news, or community topics.
