Technical Business Analyst (Maternity Cover, Palantir Foundry)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week.

Salary: €1,500–€2,500 per month for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based annual bonus and additional benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the development of business application functionality from concept through delivery.
• Analyse business processes and gather, document, and translate requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Support applications on Palantir Foundry and collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Validate solution designs through functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Create user-facing documentation, test cases, and test suites, including manual user testing.
• Design data-quality checks and system-health monitoring while contributing to continuous improvement and operational stability.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in a software development and delivery environment.
• Strong data-modelling expertise, including logical and physical data structures, relational databases, and collaboration with data engineering teams.
• Proven SQL and PySpark skills for data analysis, validation, prototyping, and independent dataset exploration.
• Experience defining and executing functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests, including test scenario design and support for automated testing.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills for working with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the Bratislava office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Palantir Foundry, Python, or PySpark.
• Experience in agile or DevOps environments and sprint-based delivery.
• Strong conceptual and abstract thinking, including dependency, risk, and cross-system impact analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently and collaboratively in a global team.
