Senior Business Analyst (Clinical Research)

Location: Remote within Poland, Spain, Greece, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Portugal, or the Czech Republic

What you will do

• Lead the gathering, analysis, definition, documentation, and validation of software requirements.
• Define requirements for core web application functionality, system and device integrations, data visualization, and reporting.
• Work with stakeholders, technical partners, customers, and end users to identify needs and translate them into software requirements.
• Learn and document product functionality, capabilities, workflows, and business processes.
• Support planning, reporting, and analysis for internal functions and time-sensitive initiatives.
• Create technical documentation for the SDLC, including software design documents, functional specifications, change requests, diagrams, and workflow visualizations.

Requirements

• At least five years of systems or business analysis experience.
• Strong technical experience working with software development teams.
• Knowledge of software development processes, SDLC methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with BDD methodologies and requirements definition.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team environment and be based in one of the listed European countries.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of clinical trial operations, clinical trial management software, and client-facing applications.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, HIPAA, GDPR, EMA, GAMP5, or FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
