What you will do

• Lead, schedule, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel while coordinating work across departments.
• Oversee daily laboratory, quality, logistics, and managerial operations.
• Manage budgets, capital expenses, operating costs, revenue growth, and profit-and-loss performance for a $5M+ operation.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, quality, health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain client and industry relationships and support technical proposals, quotations, marketing strategies, and business expansion plans.
• Analyze operational indicators and improve turnaround time, productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent directly related experience; an MS or PhD is preferred.
• At least 10 years of supervisory experience and 10 years of professional laboratory operations experience.
• At least 5 years leading laboratory operations or large, multi-department teams with profit-and-loss accountability.
• Knowledge of laboratory services and EPA, DOT, OSHA, and DOL regulations.
• Strong communication, customer relations, negotiation, decision-making, problem-solving, budgeting, and delegation skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English and authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship are required.
