Construction Representative - Water/Wastewater

Location: Longview; on-site construction inspection duties required

hirify.global is hiring for a construction representative role focused on water and wastewater projects.

What you will do

• Observe construction work and verify that procedures, materials, workmanship, levels, alignment, and elevations comply with plans, specifications, and submittals.
• Measure distances and structural installations to confirm accurate dimensions and layouts.
• Interpret plans and specifications for contractors and discuss deviations with engineers, contractors, and owners.
• Maintain daily construction and inspection logs, record material quantities, and compare progress reports.
• Prepare monthly estimates of completed work, review contractor payments, and document installation changes for record drawings.
• Monitor contractor schedules, coordinate with materials testing laboratories, and request required testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and independent-work skills.
• Ethical decision-making, confidentiality, integrity, reliability, and composure under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record; availability Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
