Senior Structurer Credit & Surety

Location: Zurich, Switzerland; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week

Annual base salary: CHF 132,000–198,000 for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead complex structured finance and portfolio transaction execution across corporate finance, project and infrastructure finance, and trade finance.
• Conduct due diligence, including legal documentation review, financial modelling, financial statement assessment, and sector research.
• Develop and present credit memoranda to senior management.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to meet organizational standards and guidelines.
• Monitor and manage transactions after closing.
• Source new business opportunities through established client and broker relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least seven years of experience in structured finance or corporate finance at a bank or other financial institution.
• Strong understanding of assessing credit obligors across diverse industries and transaction structures.
• Experience with SRT transactions and other risk transfer mechanisms.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate and defend positions on complex transactions.
