Reliability Engineer (Tonawanda, NY)

Location: Tonawanda, New York, United States; onsite plant-based role. May include up to 10% domestic travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Expected annual compensation: $145,676–$178,049, including base pay and eligible variable incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop analytical approaches to predict, prevent, eliminate, and reduce equipment failures.
• Design and implement reliability standards, training, equipment modifications, and life-cycle asset management practices.
• Perform failure mode and effects analysis and implement, audit, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Apply Reliability Centered Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance programs.
• Analyze failure, cost, uptime, and other reliability data to develop improvement plans.
• Serve as the equipment reliability subject matter expert, lead improvement teams, manage KPIs, and support critical spares strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
• At least six combined years of experience in maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, and/or plant engineering.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Ability to communicate technical information in writing and verbally to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician credentials.
• Experience with reliability analysis, predictive maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
