What you will do
- Lead the monthly financial close for the Mexico City Wrangler business.
- Prepare and review journal entries, with focus on bad debt reserves, inventory reserves, accounts payable, accruals, and refund liabilities.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Execute the internal controls framework in compliance with SOX requirements.
- Oversee local cash management, accounts payable, customer accounting, and coordination with Corporate Treasury.
- Coach and develop less-experienced accounting staff.
Requirements
- College degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or a similar designation is preferred.
- 10 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including structuring and analyzing large datasets and writing formulas.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive decision-making, leadership, integrity, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be a registered legal representative in Mexico.
