Software Engineer - Fullstack, Java, React, JavaScript

Location: Hybrid; three days per week at a Guardian office in Holmdel, NJ, Hudson Yards, NY, or Bethlehem, PA. Candidates must live within commuting distance and be located in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.

Salary: $81,580–$122,365 per year, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and unit test customer-facing website features for the Guardian application.
• Maintain existing software and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the security office to follow prescribed security standards.
• Partner with product owners to decompose and deliver features.
• Work with developers, QA, business users, internal teams, and periodic external partners in a SAFe agile environment.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of proven experience with fullstack software development.
• Experience with React, Next, Node, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and databases and SQL.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship; candidates must be within commuting distance of the listed offices.
