Associate Product Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: United States; remote

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications, with eligibility for an annual bonus program or commission incentive.

What you will do

• Build and ship features across Next.js applications, serverless APIs, and internal CLI tools with guidance from senior engineers.
• Integrate enterprise SaaS platforms including Salesforce, Workfront, Workday, and Bizzabo through REST APIs and webhook pipelines.
• Design and implement event-driven automation using webhooks, queues, and database-backed state machines.
• Build tools and services that enable internal teams to interact safely with enterprise platform data.
• Explore AI and LLM applications such as content extraction and conversational interfaces.
• Write tested code and contribute to infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and internal developer tooling.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience, or a portfolio of personal or academic projects demonstrating shipped software.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and familiarity with REST APIs, Git, version control, relational databases, and collaborative development.
• Active use of AI-powered developer tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, with the ability to explain their role in development and learning.
• Ability to discuss the limits of AI-assisted development and when to apply independent engineering judgment.
• Exposure to React, Next.js, serverless functions, AWS, OAuth 2.0, third-party API authentication, or Prisma is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent self-taught or bootcamp experience.
