Senior Electrical Engineer – Board & System Design (Taiwan) Taipei or Hsinchu

What you will do

• Lead schematic design, component selection, board architecture, and power-tree definition for complex server and data-center boards.
• Define system architecture, high-speed interface requirements, power delivery strategies, and thermal and mechanical constraints.
• Develop platforms supporting CPUs, accelerators, memory subsystems, high-speed I/O, and advanced power architectures.
• Work with Taiwan ODMs on design reviews, issue resolution, schedules, manufacturing readiness, factory builds, and production issues.
• Lead board bring-up, debugging, and system-level validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Collaborate with SI/PI, firmware, packaging, mechanical, customer, and partner teams on integrated system delivery.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in board design and system-level hardware development.
• Strong experience with server, data-center, or high-performance compute platforms.
• Expertise in schematic capture, power architecture, and high-speed digital design.
• Direct experience working with Taiwan ODMs such as Quanta, Wistron, Inventec, or Foxconn.
• Familiarity with PCIe, CXL, DDR, Ethernet, CPO, and other high-speed interfaces, plus hands-on laboratory equipment experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SI/PI fundamentals.
• Experience with server-class power delivery, including VRMs and multiphase regulators.
