Sr. Manager, Electrical Engineering (Data Centers)

Location: Remote within the United States; New Mexico remote listing. Domestic travel required up to 30%.

What you will do

• Direct and oversee project-specific electrical engineering and design activities for data center facilities.
• Review and provide final approval for contract documents prepared by third-party design consultants.
• Ensure project designs are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and maintain equipment specifications and support procurement through submittal reviews, approvals, and factory witness testing.
• Maintain legacy basis-of-design documents and assist with new designs for emerging business needs.
• Identify and implement technologies and systems that improve data center energy and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience designing data centers and specifying electrical equipment for mission-critical facilities.
• Expertise in diesel engine standby generators, uninterruptible power supplies, and concurrently maintainable facility design.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Baseline proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Engineering in Training certification and progress toward Professional Engineer licensure.
