Lead Business Analyst (Trading Technology)

Location: Hybrid in Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States; less than 25% travel; participation in rotational after-hours support may be required.

What you will do

• Lead discovery, documentation, and stewardship of business and functional requirements for complex trading technology initiatives.
• Translate business goals into technical requirements and user stories for advisor-facing trading platforms.
• Perform gap analyses, feasibility assessments, and impact evaluations to guide scalable solution design and decision-making.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, UX, and business stakeholders throughout solution delivery.
• Facilitate UAT, validate test scenarios, and confirm that delivered solutions meet business expectations.
• Create process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and technical and user documentation while supporting production issue resolution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of business analysis experience in financial services, trading systems, or enterprise technology environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of equities, options, and mutual fund trading workflows, market structure, order lifecycles, and trade processing is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis, with experience using TFS, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Splunk, and Postman.
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Visio or Marvel, plus strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Experience supporting vendor software implementations and enterprise-scale applications is valued.

• Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT for documentation, productivity, and innovation.
