Junior Financial Accounting Associate (Hybrid)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week.

Base salary: €1,300–€2,200 for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Support quarterly financial production for Intra-Group Reinsurance transactions according to established timelines and guidelines.
• Set up and maintain IGR contracts in finance systems, ensuring accurate and complete data.
• Prepare financial results, reconciliations, and basic validations for reporting.
• Execute standard accounting and reporting activities in line with internal controls.
• Support system enhancements and User Acceptance Testing under guidance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk Management, Treasury, and Audit teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Basic experience with accounting or reporting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate while following established processes.

Nice to have

• Exposure to US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Experience in an international or cross-functional environment.
• Interest in developing expertise in accounting or reinsurance.
