Psychiatrist - NP/PA Supervision - Remote

Location: Fully remote; active, unrestricted California physician license required

Compensation: $200–$250 per supervised APP per month

What you will do

• Provide collaborative supervision for PMHNPs and other applicable advanced practice providers under California requirements and hirify.global policies.
• Conduct brief recurring supervision touchpoints, generally 15–30 minutes per assigned APP per month.
• Provide consultation on complex psychiatric presentations, medication management, diagnostic questions, and escalation of care.
• Review cases or documentation when clinically indicated or required.
• Partner with clinical leadership on psychiatric care quality, provider education, risk identification, and patient safety.
• Maintain supervisory agreements, documentation, and knowledge of California physician collaboration requirements.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted California physician license and active DEA registration.
• Experience supervising, collaborating with, or consulting for PMHNPs or other APPs.
• Strong knowledge of outpatient psychiatric medication management and evidence-based mental health treatment.
• Strong clinical judgment and responsive communication in a high-autonomy practice environment.

Nice to have

• Virtual or telehealth APP supervision experience.
• Experience in women’s mental health, reproductive psychiatry, or integrated primary care.
• Additional active state licenses, particularly New York or Arizona.
• Experience in a multistate healthcare organization.
