Commercial Loan Services Specialist 3 (Commercial Lending)

Location: Dallas, TX; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States. Huntington does not sponsor immigration or work permits for this position.

What you will do

• Service an assigned portfolio of high-dollar participated and syndicated commercial loans in accordance with executed credit agreements.
• Process payments, advances, fund transfers, wires, syndicated-loan transactions, and same-day settlements with participant banks.
• Close and book syndicated loans in the ACBS loan system, including collateral review and documentation checks.
• Research balance discrepancies, interpret credit agreements, review loan and rate histories, and correct accounting or billing errors.
• Prepare transaction advice for participant banks and work with customers on loan rate options and fund transfers.
• Coordinate with Syndication Directors, attorneys, participant banks, and internal business partners while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related commercial loan documentation experience, including review, preparation, or account maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Participation or syndication experience and experience with a syndicated loan system.
• Experience reading and interpreting loan documents, handling large-dollar transactions, and performing financial balancing and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills.
• Experience working in a production environment with time constraints and strict deadlines.
