Commercial Specialized Lending Closer

Location: On-site positions in Columbus, Fishers, Independence, Mount Joy, Erie, Bellevue, Williamsport, and State College, United States

What you will do

• Process commercial specialty finance transactions from post-approval through closing, including syndicated, participated, Sponsor Finance, Equipment Finance, Sports Finance, and Corporate Finance deals.
• Review credit agreements, loan approval packages, collateral, signers, guarantors, and other closing documentation in coordination with attorneys and internal stakeholders.
• Initiate and reconcile funding, repricing, payments, fee accruals, lender distributions, and other loan activity.
• Monitor portfolio activity, past-due amounts, margin changes, system reporting, and invoice accuracy.
• Act as an escalation point and subject matter expert, research complex issues, support audits and projects, and recommend process improvements.
• Provide cross-training, quality control, backup support for Trade Services and Letters of Credit, and participate in system testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics preferred, or 3–5 years of related job or industry experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Extensive ability to manage concurrent assignments independently and within a team environment.
• Extensive ability to read and interpret complex loan documentation and credit agreements.
• Experience working in a production environment with strict deadlines and time constraints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and department-specific software; ability to work with on-site equipment.
