Distribution Team Leader

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States; onsite distribution center role

What you will do

• Manage distribution center activities across receiving, ihirify.globalory control, material handling, order picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
• Lead distribution personnel in a fast-paced environment and maintain a motivated, positive, and productive workforce.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities using best practices and operational metrics.
• Coach and develop team members and participate in employee hiring and training.
• Identify and allocate resources to achieve departmental objectives.
• Participate in cross-functional improvement teams and daily startup meetings.

Requirements

• Leadership experience, including leading teams or projects.
• Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment and knowledge of ihirify.globalory, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Knowledge of ihirify.globalory control, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement concepts, and ERP/WMS systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and electronically, work independently, and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to walk, climb, stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods; lift work materials weighing up to 70 pounds; and operate material-handling equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to make decisions supporting timely and accurate shipping.
